New National Heritage Areas Coordinator
for the Northeast Region
Suzanne Copping has accepted a position with the National Park Service as the new National Heritage Areas Coordinator for the Northeast Region. She was formerly Assistant National Coordinator for Heritage Areas in the Washington Office.

In her new position, Copping will coordinate technical and financial assistance for the 17 National Heritage Areas in the Northeast Region. She will also work with national, state and local Heritage Areas and NPS staff to strengthen awareness of and support for Heritage Areas within and outside the National Park Service.

New Program Area Manager
for Cultural and Heritage Tourism
Sarah H. McCullough recently started in the position of Program Area Manager for the Mississippi Division of Tourism for Cultural and Heritage Tourism and was most recently with The Georgia Trust.
In her new position, McCullough will develop programs to promote statewide heritage and culture; assist communities in the identification and promotion of heritage and cultural events and properties; and supports the FAM Tours.
